Larping.org has a post up about New Jersey LARP which used Kickstarter to fund improvements at the camp they rent, raising $3,600 from players to build a new common space, not just for that LARP, but for all the LARPs which use the camp.
Where else have you seen Kickstarter used to fund LARPs or LARP-related projects?
A while ago th authors of "The Dance and the Dawn" used KickStarter to fund publication. Aaron Vanek is using it for his edularp project, Hitseekers. And there was an unsuccessful attempt to fund an English tranlsation of an Italian murder-mystery game, Murder Cocktail Party: Bloody Mary.
